June

Update, I found a company local to me that welds aluminium, they welded two -12 fittings on the fuel tanks three inches from the bottom of the tanks, this should stop any surge or siphoning  from tank to tank, but the chances are that I'll not let the fuel get that low anyway. It now means that I can fill up from either side of the car.

I picked up my digital dash from ETB Instruments in Leigh -On-Sea, Essex, I now have to install it into the dashboard and get 'another' binnacle made up to go over the top, I have decided to use the Savage switches and devise a way to convert the push to make switches into latching switches for the 2 speed heater and wiper motors.

My engine will be ready for collection the weekend of 25/26th of June. I hope to have some pictures soon of the installed digidash2  the switches, and the air vents, I am installing four eyeball air vents, two in the centre of the dash and one either end of the dashboard, these will be fed with fresh air ducted from the front brake vents.
